NEWS LIVE (নিউজ লাইভ) is the most popular, most-watched and highest TRP grosser 24×7 satellite news channel in Northeast India, broadcasting news, current affairs and infotainment programmes. It is owned by Pride East Entertainments Private Limited, a Guwahati-based media group that owns four other satellite channels. NEWS LIVE was officially launched on Jan 21, 2008.

Riniki Bhuyan Sharma is the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Pride East group and is the main person behind the success of the entire media group, leading the conglomerate from the front. The editorial team is led by senior journalist Syed Zarir Hussain who is the Chief Managing Editor of the channel.
