Lai Hara, A new path for Women Empowerment in Northeast India

In a significant advancement for women's empowerment in Northeast India, the 48 Assam Naval Unit of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), operating under the NCC NER Directorate, Shillong, proudly introduced Project 'Lai Hara.' Meaning 'New Path.' This pioneering initiative is dedicated to enabling NCC SW cadets to excel in entrepreneurial endeavours by providing essential resources and training. The initiative was officially introduced to ecosystem enablers at the Conference Hall, Narengi Military Station, Guwahati, on 15th May 2024 with participation from Assam Startup officials. The conference was chaired by Major General Gagan Deep, with Mrs. Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, MD and Founder of Pride East Entertainment, gracing the event as a special invitee. Together, they steered the gathering towards impactful discussions and strategic decisions for women empowerment and upliftment.
